The N. veitchii "variegated (k)" ISC was an individual seedling from the CAR-0001 grex. It is genetically distinct from the male [[Nepenthes veitchii Variegated (k)|variegated (k)]] used in several [[Carnivero]] crosses.

As of 2025 the plant is still small at around ~2in. in diameter, making it's exact traits indeterminate at this point. On initial inspection, it seems the plant has light green vs. dark green variegation as opposed to the cream/green variegation from the other [[Nepenthes veitchii Variegated (k)|variegated (k)]]. The variegation pattern also differs, with a more chimeric patterning vs the speckled pattering of the other [[Nepenthes veitchii Variegated (k)|variegated (k)]].

It is unknown if this variegation would be stable, although it has been noted at the time of the live auction the last six leaves were variegated.
