A most unusual Male Veitchii, 'Cobra' has a flared peristome, this flair unlike other veitchii doesn't fold back fukky over time after opening , giving it a Cobra Snake hood kind of feature . 'Cobra' is often used in hybrid breeding and some species horticulture crosses at Carnivero, and limitedly done M'1' x 'Cobra' in small batches via Mike Fallen.

Physical Traits

The main distinguishing trait is the forward flair of the specimen, some offspring exhibit this trait ,fully, partially or not at all.
Trap has a vibrant red body that ages to a yellow tone, with a intense striped peristome.
Growing Conditions
Due to Bata Buli possible origins, its classified as a Highland specimen, but can grow intermediate. this is one the slowest growing veitchii subgroups
History in Cultivation
Believed to have originated into horticulture via an Asian nursery
due to its traits and form being consistent with some Bata Buli- Bata Lawi specimens , it is believed to have originated from that local in the Kelabit Highlands of Borneo
