Physical Traits
Traps start as a pink tone on mature specimens to a vibrant red , then the peristome ages a yellow tone onto non striped sections, as these traps age fully it gains a yellow tone on body with a orange/dark yellow/gold
at a younger age/smaller basil/cutting the body can start green/yellow and produce a few strips, only when mature or near maturity does it truly shine
an interesting feature known on 'Candy Dreams' or CD is the dark speckles on its leaves , many offspring display this trait in a variety of intensity. It is a similar red speckled variegation noted on lowlands such as 'Black Miracle'. On the veitchii Bario form, this is not an uncommon trait ,and can appear on any such cross with those genetics.
